Running Indoor Track

Easy pace

  • 4:30 am,   BG: 104,
  • 5:00 am,   BG: 122, Start running
  • 5:30 am,   BG: 115, Finish running
  • 6:15 am,   BG: 117, 30 Minutes Post Workout 

On today’s training plan was an easy 3 mile run. It was raining and cold so I opted for the indoor track. Today the first mile felt a little stiff but after that I just floated. It was like I blinked and I was done. I threw in some ab work at the end for good measure including planks, bicycles, toe reaches and over/under flutter kicks.

The dawn phenomenon was strong this morning and kept my BGs pretty stable despite the low intensity cardio. No carbs needed and Around 6:30 am I actually had to inject a bit of insulin since the dawn phenomenon was still pushing my BGs up and I was already done with my workout.
